There are two kinds of noises caused by problems in bearing applications. There are two common types of sounds: scars and dust. They are described as follows:

Flaw sound and its control method

Dust sound and its control method

There is foreign matter such as dust in the rolling bearing, and non-periodic vibration and so-called dust sound may occur. The magnitude of the vibration and noise is variable, and there is or may not be.

The control methods of dust sound include: improving the cleaning method of the bearing, before the installation, the bearings, shafts, seat holes and matching parts are strictly sanitary and clean; remove the foreign matter in the lubricant; improve the bearing seal; avoid using impure or embedded materials Plastic cage with foreign objects.

Noise caused by lubrication factors and its countermeasures

The wrong choice of lubricant, insufficient lubricant or aging hardening can lead to vibration and noise in the bearing, and there is no certain rule for this noise. In this case, only the appropriate lubricant can be selected, the amount of lubricant can be adjusted, the service life of the lubricant can be extended, and the replacement cycle must be reasonably determined.

Host-related noise and countermeasures

This kind of noise is not caused by the bearing alone, so it is futile to find the cause from the bearing alone. It is necessary to pay full attention to the host and improve the performance of the host if necessary. Mainly describes the common beep sound and frame resonance sound in the motor.

Buzzer of motor and its countermeasures

The axial vibration of the motor shaft will cause a large high-frequency noise-buzzer, the frequency of which is the same as the axial vibration frequency, which can be constant or variable. The beep sound is prevented in the same way as the axial vibration.

Bearing frame resonance sound and its countermeasures

When the above-mentioned mass of the outer ring is caused by the axial natural vibration of the bearing frame, a kind of noise called resonance sound is generated accordingly. Increasing the pre-tensioning method can increase the axial natural frequency of the outer ring mass system, destroy the resonance conditions, and reduce noise.
