◆ Function of bearing lubricates
Lubrication has important influence on rolling bearing, such as life, friction,
wearing and tearing, temperature rising, and vibration. Without normal lubricat-
ion, the bearing cannot work. Analysis on the causes of bearing break shows that
40% around of bearing break result from lacking of lubrication. Therefore, good
lubricates is effective action to reduce bearing friction as well as wearing and
tearing. What's more, the bearing lubrication also effectively dissipates heat,
guards against the rust, seal airtight, relaxes the impact and many other kinds
of functions.

◆ Grease
Grease is a kind of lubricant made from base oil, thickener and additive. When
choosing grease, you need to choose those which are very suitable for bearing
applications. You must be cautious when you choose Since different trademarks
canbe extremely different in function.
    The bearings usually use lime grease, sodium-base grease, calcium-sodium soap
grease, lithium-base grease, aluminum base grease and Molykote, etc.
    The amount of grease stuffed in bearing is considered to be appropriate when
grease fills 1/3~2/3 inner space of bearing. When high speed, it should be
reduced to 1/3, because too much grease makes the temperature raise.

◆ Oil lubrication
In the condition of high speed and high temperature, grease is no longer suitable
. Then oil lubrication is needed.,Most heat can be taken away by the cycle of oil lubrication.

◆ Viscidity
Viscidity is an important characteristic of lubrication. The size of viscosity
directly influences the lubrication's fluidity and the oil film thickness between
rubbing surface. Under bearing operating temperature, the viscosity of lubricati-
on is generally between 12cst and 15cst. The higher the speed is, the lower vis-
cosity should be chosen. The common use of lubrication is machinery oil, high-
speed mechanism, steam turbine oil compression oil, transformer oil, cylinder oil
and so on.
